Thank you for visiting the site of the 'BAD' branch of ILEX which exists thanks to the generous support of our ISP, ymonda and also 3 Paper Buildings, the national set of Barristers' Chambers established in Bournemouth, Winchester, Bristol, Oxford and London. In recognition of our special relationship with 3 Paper Buildings, a fixed fee advice scheme exists enabling members of the branch to obtain speedy advice on a discrete issue for a flat fee of only £50 plus Vat. Very little in the way of updates is now posted here. Instead, to be kept fully up to date with all matters relating to the Branch and ILEX generally, please visit the Branch Blog. If you subscribe (using the Email Subscription box on the right) then you will automatically be emailed each post as soon as it is posted.
Annual Dinner 2011
We are very excited about this year’s Annual Dinner which celebrates the 80th Anniversary of the Branch which started life way back in 1931 as the very first branch of The Solicitors’ Managing Clerks’ Association.
This very special Annual Dinner will take place on 2 December 2011 at the Carrington House Hotel where the guest speaker will be His Honour John Beashel DL and we can promise some surprises too.
Full price tickets are £42 but a reduced price of £38 is available for all Branch Members and also for all tickets booked and paid for before 21 October. Student and affiliate members of the Branch pay only £30. Maintained from previous years is the exceptionally good value discounted B&B rate of £32 per person for Dinner guests staying at the Hotel.
