Thank you for visiting the site of the 'BAD' branch of ILEX which exists thanks to the generous support of our ISP, ymonda and also 3 Paper Buildings, the national set of Barristers' Chambers established in Bournemouth, Winchester, Bristol, Oxford and London. In recognition of our special relationship with 3 Paper Buildings, a fixed fee advice scheme exists enabling members of the branch to obtain speedy advice on a discrete issue for a flat fee of only £50 plus Vat. Branch AGM & Annual Quiz
Congratulations to Michelle Whiting for being elected Chair of the Branch for another year and to Kim Bailey for her appointment as Treasurer. Kim replaces Angela Jones who did a fantastic job for 5 years in spite of the incompetence of the Branch Secretary.
As for the Quiz, congratulations to the Moordown Morons (their choice of name not ours!) for winning the ILEX Quiz Cup by a single point in a very hard fought contest. Annual Dinner
Over 230 people attended the Dinner at the Carrington House Hotel and immediate feedback was very favourable. Newsletters
Instead of sending out newsletters on an irritatingly irregular basis, news and information will now be posted via a blog. This is easier to manage, designed for short, frequent messages and, most importantly, enables everyone to comment and thus participate in discussions, add additional news or offer further help etc.
