This is the first newsletter to be posted online instead of being emailed everywhere (although subscribers get an email telling them the newsletter has been posted). It is something of an experiment so please let me know if you have any issues with this method of 'circulation'.

Skittles - Friday 14 July, Elm Tree Inn, Ringwood

Our next event is a skittles evening at the Elm Tree Inn in Ringwood. Full details are in the flyer which you can view and print by clicking the picture below. As usual, there will be prizes and special formats to make sure everyone gets to join in and, of course, prizes! With discounts for members it is a very reasonably priced evening so please do come along.

Summer Barbeque - Saturday 12 August, Talbot Woods, Bournemouth

For the first time in many years, we have a new venue for the Summer Barbeque which this year will be hosted by our chair, Andrew Degan. As normal, this is completely free for branch members and their guests - children are welcome - but you are expected to bring an item of food (i.e. salad, pasta not the meat which the branch supplies) or a pudding as well as a bottle (or two or three or . . .).

The address and directions will be made available privately but we need to know numbers so please get in touch if you would like to attend and let me know what side dish or pudding you can bring.

Annual Dinner - Friday 8 December

Advance notice that the Dinner will take place on 8 December and will again be at the Metro Palace Court Hotel. Ticket prices have not been confirmed yet (we are still negotiating the menu price!) but are likely to £2 or £3 dearer than last year. I will take reservations from branch members now.
