Newsletters

Instead of sending out newsletters on an irritatingly irregular basis, news and information will now be posted via a blog. This is easier to manage, designed for short, frequent messages and, most importantly, enables everyone to comment and thus participate in discussions, add additional news or offer further help etc.

To view the blog and subscribe so you can be kept in touch with new posts as and when they are made, head over to the ILEX Bournemouth & District Branch page at WordPress.

To view previous newletters sent via MailChimp use the links below (but note the dates are in US format; month/day/year):

To review older newsletters, please select from the list on the left.

The 18 August newsletter mentions the Survey which many (well, 43) members completed (actually 43 started but only 41 completed it). To see a summary of the results click here. To see the full results online (and thereby have access to the various comments made) please click here.

Contact Details

As secretary and so, for your sins, the voice (but not the engine - I stand on the shoulders of giants) and point of contact for the branch, if you have any queries, comments or contributions about or for the newsletter, any aspect of the branch or Ilex generally you can email me by clicking here, write to me at 48/50 Parkstone Road, Poole BH15 2PG (DX 07650 Poole) or, if you must, telephone me on 01202 466669. The 'must' bit isn't intended to be rude but simply because I'm impossible to get hold of and a grumpy git if you manage it. Apparently.

Any time you need to make a payment please make cheques payable to Ilex Bournemouth & District Branch. I'm working on getting the bank to accept cheques payable to Bad Ilex just because I think it is funny but they won't. Yet.

Any opinions expressed in the newsletter are those of the author not those of the branch committee or Ilex. If they are rude or offensive they were probably meant to be funny but weren't.

Nick Hanning
