Newsletters

Produced at intervals throughout the year, the Newsletter and Student Newsletter highlight forthcoming events and (hopefully) contain items of interest to members of the branch. The current newsletter is available online and older ones will also be posted in due course. Contributions are always welcome. Please contact Nick Hanning or Angela Jones for details.

Social

The Branch organises a variety of events throughout the year to which all members and their guests are welcome. Details will appear in the Newsletter and in the Institute's Journal and may also be the subject of separate mailings.

Revision/Exam Technique Days

With the help of course tutors and local lawyers, low cost revisions days can be arranged subject to demand in the run up to exams in as many areas as possible. Please contact Nick Hanning for details.

Work Shadowing Scheme

To illustrate what the job really involves on a day to day basis, several local lawyers have agreed to have students shadow their day in the office. for details of how the scheme works in practice please click here

The Branch aims to offer CPD approved seminars on various subjects during the year and a wide variety of training courses are also offered via the Bournemouth  District Law Society. For news and contact details please refer to the newsletter.
